All about us

Hay's Hair Company was established on the High Street in Daventry in 1956 (more than 52 years ago!) by the mother of our current owner Clare Cornes. Mrs Hay was the first Stylist to offer colour treatments in Daventry.

As a local family run business we have grown from strength to strength and offer all our clients excellent customer care.

We now have 12 members of staff all waiting to deliver the best service to you. Our pricing structure reflects their experience, qualifications and talent. Most of us joined after leaving school and have stayed with Hay's throughout our careers.

We are proud to be fellows of the Fellowship for British Hairdressing - something that can't be bought and has to be earnt! We're also members of the National Hairdressers Federation (NHF).

Hay's and our Art Team have won many awards including the first prize in the Northamptonshire Salon of the Year Award and were presented our Award by top stylist Trevor Sorbie! Our Stylists also go regularly to London and work on and off stage with leading Stylists from around the world.
